"The blue of life"
A moment to dye with your own hands.
■ About this experience
Hondate Shoaizome is a traditional Japanese indigo dyeing technique that uses fermentation. You touch the indigo dye liquid, which is alive with microorganisms, with your bare hands, soak the fabric, wash it, and expose it to the sun and wind. By doing so, a beautiful blue will emerge. This experience is not just about dyeing fabric. It is a special time to come face to face with indigo and surrender yourself to the workings of life.
